The Age Of Innocence

Now I sit here, and I am reading a book called The Age Of Innocence By-Edith Wharton. It is an amazing book, and well worth your time to read. This is my favorite line
"He simply felt that if he could carry away the vision of the spot of earth she walked on, and the way the sky and sea enclosed it, the rest of the world might seem less empty"
-Edith Wharton

The book is about a man Newland Archer's world as he gets ready to marry the lovely May Welland. Cab you imagine what happens when the Contess Ellen Olenska comes back to New York, after an unfortunate marriage, who he falls in love with. Now the choice lies upon his shoulders loyalty, and duty, or ruining his reputation to be with the one he loves.

Check the book out, NOW!!!

Hi Bailey,

Love your blog. I haven't read Edith Wharton since high school I think and can remember almost nothing about it. Guess I'll have to read it again...you make it sound really good.

Have you read any Edgar Allen Poe?

Love you,
Nan
